Stud
Set in the heart of the Golden Vale in Co.Tipperary, Starlove Stud is a small breeding stud of sport horses that Stella brought to life in 2024.
Stella has a background as professional event rider and she aims to breed a small number of quality horses to be produced with the experience and care from foaling through the educational phases.
“My passion for horses and nature have always been there; all this I’m working for is very special to me.“
Stella started her own breeding program in 2020. The first mares she foaled were the ones she evented herself in the previous years while based in England.
“I am delighted to have started my program with some quality mares. My goal is to produce modern blood horses primarily for eventing and I’m thinking to extend to the show jumping in the future.”
“Starlove Stud is a little corner of paradise where nature is celebrated and respected.
I am a firm believer that horses belongs to the fields and we focus often too much on the physical work leaving beside their mental well being. Horses don’t have the same clock as we do. I like to try and work around their world.”
Stella has completed young stock management course , foaling course and DEFRA Certificate for Artificial Insemination at Twelmlows Stud, Cheshire UK in 2022.
